SPROTTS FARM

Sprotts farm is a 17th century farmhouse set in 10 acres of secluded and peaceful grounds.  There is a large pond, (in an area fenced off from the cottages but accessible through gates) and the footpaths that run across the grounds, offer access to miles of open farmland and wooded walks.

There is plenty of wildlife to be seen including foxes, rabbits, roe and munt-jack deer, badgers, pheasant, partridge, moorhen, birds of prey, owls and nightingales.  Wild flowers cover the banks and woods, especially in spring when the neighbouring woods are full of bluebells.

Once, part of a working farm, The Brambles, The Stables, The Granary and The Dairy have now been restored to offer holiday accommodation which retain the original beams and character features without losing the comfort and convenience of modern living. 

All of the cottages have been tastefully furnished and are fully equipped.
